Fall down 7 times, get up 8

Building resilience is an important part of growth and change. There are several ways to cultivate and inspire resilience in people. A good start is finding a sentence that resonates with you and keep that in your mind as a daily reminder. Let it empower you, motivate you, and become a mantra you internally chant to yourself every day. Words can make you, break you and can change your mindset. . My scars remind me that I did indeed survive my deepest wounds. That in itself is an accomplishment. And they bring to mind something else, too. They remind me that despite the damages my life and my decisions have inflicted on me they also left me stronger and more resilient. . The best part of all of this is: someone once gave me a box full of darkness. It took quite a few years for me to understand that this, too, was a gift. So, thank you! . “Fall down 7 times, get up 8.” . Love, Rae 💋
